Importance of Guru (Teacher)
A sage had been meditating in a forest for many years, with a disciple who looked after him and served him faithfully. The sage's spiritual presence was so powerful that people from all the nearby villages would come to visit and seek his blessings.
One day, the sage emerged from his deep meditation, blessed everyone, and the disciple asked, "Master, what is your command for me?"
The sage continued to teach him valuable lessons. Once the disciple had completed his education, he expressed his desire to travel to another place for his own meditation.
The sage, concerned for his student, advised him, "If you ever face any trouble, remember to call on me."
After bowing to his master, the disciple set off into the forest. He wandered for a long time, looking for the perfect place to meditate, but couldn't find a suitable spot. After a while, he stopped to rest, and soon came across a place where he thought he could begin his meditation.
While contemplating, the disciple thought to himself, “I should summon a genie who can help me complete all my tasks.”
He began his penance to control the genie, and after many days and months of rigorous meditation, the genie finally appeared.
As soon as the genie emerged, it said, "Command me, my master. Give me a task, for if I remain idle, I will eat you!" Startled by this, the disciple quickly asked for food, saying, "I haven't eaten in days.
Bring me the finest dishes from around the world." Within a minute, the genie disappeared and returned with a feast. After serving the food, the genie repeated, "Command me, my master, for if I remain idle, I will eat you!"
The disciple then said, "I haven't rested in a long time. Bring me a bed and everything I need to relax." Instantly, the genie disappeared and came back with a luxurious bed and all the necessary comforts.
Again, the genie said, "Command me, my master, for if I remain idle, I will eat you!"
The disciple started to panic. “This genie completes tasks too quickly,” he thought. “At this rate, it will finish everything and eat me soon!”

Feeling overwhelmed, the disciple remembered his master's advice: "If you ever face any trouble, remember to call on me." So, he told the genie, "I haven't bathed in days. Fetch water from all the sacred places for me to bathe."
As the genie left to collect the water, the disciple began to pray to his master.
Soon, the sage appeared. The disciple explained his problem: "I summoned the genie and it completes all tasks quickly, but every time it's done, it threatens to eat me if I don’t give it another task!"
The sage calmly smiled and said, "Is that all? When the genie returns, tell it that from now on, I will give it the orders." The disciple agreed.
When the genie came back with the water, it once again said, "Command me, my master, for if I remain idle, I will eat you!" The disciple replied, "From now on, my master will give you the commands."
The genie turned to the sage and repeated its phrase, "Command me, my master, for if I remain idle, I will eat you!" The sage instructed, "Go and fetch a 20-foot-long bamboo pole." The genie instantly brought it.
The sage then said, "Now, plant the pole five feet into the ground. After that, keep climbing up and down the pole until I give you a new task." The genie, unable to complete this endless task, kept climbing the pole, and the disciple's problem was solved.
Moral of the story-
This story demonstrates the importance of a true mentor, especially in fields like network marketing.
